The Buccaneers Renewed For Season 3 On Apple TV+

 The 1870s-set period drama sails on with another season of corsets, culture clashes, and romance. 

Apple TV+ has renewed The Buccaneers for a third season, extending the period drama inspired by Edith Wharton’s unfinished final novel. The news comes two months after the series wrapped its second season, which ran for eight episodes.

Set in 1870s London, the show follows a group of spirited young American women who enter British high society with a flair that unsettles tradition. As marriages and titles loom, the buccaneers pursue love, independence, and new identities amid the era’s rigid expectations.

Series creator Katherine Jakeways expressed her enthusiasm for continuing the story:

“We couldn’t be more delighted to be lacing up our corsets, slipping on our ball gowns and running breathless across the cliffs of Tintagel for the third time to see what passionate adventures our beloved Buccaneers get up to next. Huge thanks to Apple TV+ and also to the devoted viewers for loving the show as much as we do.”

Season 3 of The Buccaneers is slated to premiere in mid-to-late 2026 on Apple TV+.
