A Good Girl's Guide to Murder Season 3 To End BBC & Netflix Series
The BBC and Netflix have confirmed A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder for a third and final season, bringing the adaptation of Holly Jackson’s bestselling mystery trilogy to a planned conclusion.
The four-episode final installment will adapt As Good As Dead, the third and final novel in Jackson’s series, and will see Pip Fitz-Amobi’s story reach its conclusion. Production on the season has already wrapped, with Emma Myers returning in the lead role alongside Zain Iqbal, Henry Ashton, Asha Banks, Jude Morgan-Collie, Eden H Davies and Yali Topol Margalith.
The renewal completes Netflix’s adaptation of the full book trilogy and serves as an ending rather than a traditional cancellation. Since its debut, the series has proven popular with audiences, with Season 1 reaching No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (English) chart. The show’s success also helped drive renewed interest in the source material, with Holly Jackson’s novel returning to the top of The New York Times bestseller list following the release of the first season’s trailer. Season 2 also appeared on Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV (English) rankings shortly after release.
Writer and executive producer Holly Jackson described the final season as her favourite chapter of the story, teasing a darker and more intense outing for Pip than viewers have seen before. Star and executive producer Emma Myers also expressed excitement about bringing the trilogy to its conclusion, calling the third book her personal favourite in the series.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 3 is slated to release in 2027 on the BBC and Netflix.
