MTV has renewed RuPaul’s Drag Race for Season 18, extending the Emmy-winning reality competition’s long run.

The announcement comes as the franchise celebrates 10 Emmy nominations across its properties this year, including Outstanding Reality Competition Program and Outstanding Host.

Season 17 marked a standout year for the show, delivering its highest-rated premiere in seven years. The season ended with Onya Nurve making history as the first queen from Cleveland to be crowned America’s Next Drag Superstar.

The renewal also includes the renewal of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars (Season 11) and Untucked, the behind-the-scenes after-show, on Paramount+.
