Netflix wants more of the romantic comedy series.
Netflix has renewed romantic comedy Nobody Wants This for Season 3, continuing the story of unlikely couple Joanne and Noah as they navigate love, family, and faith.
The renewal follows the show’s strong second-season performance, which premiered October 23, 2025, and quickly climbed to number one on Netflix’s Global English TV Top 10 list for two consecutive weeks.
Created by Erin Foster, the series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an agnostic podcast host, and Adam Brody as Noah, an unconventional rabbi. The first two seasons charted their surprising connection and growing relationship, balancing sharp humor with heartfelt moments. Season 2’s success also reignited interest in the show’s debut season, which returned to the global top 10 earlier this month.
Foster said:
“I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show. It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”
Co-showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan added:
“We are so grateful to Netflix and 20th for giving us another season of Nobody Wants This. This job is criminally fun. Working with the uniquely gifted Erin Foster, this unbelievable cast of talented, hilarious pros, amazing writers, and incredible crew has been a truly great experience. Go Dodgers!”
Expect Season 3 of Nobody Wants This to premiere in fall 2026.
