FOX has renewed MasterChef for both Seasons 16 and 17, extending the long-running culinary competition series. The announcement confirms that Gordon Ramsay will once again return as host and judge, joined by restaurateur Joe Bastianich and chef Tiffany Derry.

The renewal follows another strong summer for the series, which ranked as the number one cooking show among adults 18-49 and FOX’s most-watched unscripted series of 2025, averaging 3.5 million multiplatform viewers. A fresh lineup of home cooks will compete for the $250,000 prize, the MasterChef trophy, and the title of America’s next MasterChef.

“MasterChef remains a standout series for FOX, drawing its dedicated fanbase back season after season to witness amateur cooks transform into culinary masters. MasterChef will return on FOX with Season 16, followed by Season 17, with premiere dates to be announced.
