King of the Hill Renewed For Seasons 16 & 17 On Hulu

 The adult animated comedy extends its run for two further seasons. 

Hulu has ordered two more seasons of King of the Hill, extending the animated comedy through Seasons 16 and 17.

The announcement continues the show’s revival momentum, which began in 2023 when Hulu brought the Emmy-winning series back with a 20-episode order from 20th Television Animation.

The revival has proven a hit with audiences and critics alike. Season 14, which debuted in August after a world premiere at San Diego Comic-Con, premiered at No. 2 on Nielsen’s Overall Top 10 Streaming Chart and earned a 98% Certified Fresh score on Rotten Tomatoes.

In Season 14, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changing Arlen, Texas, after years abroad, while their son Bobby pursues his culinary dreams in Dallas. The returning voice cast includes Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom, and Toby Huss.

Executive producers Mike Judge and Greg Daniels continue to lead the series alongside showrunner Saladin Patterson, with additional production by Michael Rotenberg, Howard Klein, and Dustin Davis.

Season 15 of King of the Hill will premiere in 2026 on Hulu in the U.S. and on Disney+ internationally.

Expect Season 16 in 2027, followed by Season 17 in 2028.
