Deal Or No Deal Island Cancelled On NBC – No Season 3

NBC is vacating the Deal or No Deal Island after two seasons.

NBC has cancelled Deal or No Deal Island, ending the reality-competition series after two seasons. The decision comes eight months after the show wrapped its sophomore run, with Season 2 delivering lower ratings compared to its debut; averaging a 0.24 in adults 18-49, per Nielsen.

Hosted by Joe Manganiello, the series transported 13 players to the Banker’s private island, where they competed in challenges to retrieve briefcases containing portions of a multi-million-dollar prize pool. Each episode ended with a high-stakes elimination round using the signature Deal or No Deal format, culminating in the final player facing the Banker for the largest prize in franchise history.

Despite the format twist and tropical setting, declining viewership set the stage for NBC to move on. Deal or No Deal Island will not return for Season 3.
