The Bear is set to end with its upcoming fifth season on FX and Hulu. The cancellation has been spilled by recurring guest star Jamie Lee Curtis shared on social media after filming wrapped on the new season.

Curtis said:

“FINISHED STRONG! Surrounded by an extraordinary crew and group of writers and producers and scene partners on the show that Chris Storer created, completing the story of this extraordinary family that we have all fallen in love with.”

Created by Christopher Storer, the acclaimed series centers on Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, a chef who leaves the world of fine dining to return to Chicago and take over his late brother’s struggling restaurant. As he attempts to transform the business, Carmy must also navigate grief, family tensions and the demands of running a small kitchen with a fiercely independent staff.

The Bear Season 5 would mark the final chapter of the series, and is slated to premiere later in 2026 on FX and Hulu.
