Hacks Season 6 To Extend HBO Comedy?

 Is Hacks heading into its final act - or is there one more chapter still to come? 

Is the end in sight for Hacks.

The comedy was originally envisioned as a five-season story, but that plan might be shifting. Co-creators Lucia Aniello, Paul W. Downs, and Jen Statsky have recently hinted that they may need a sixth season to bring Deborah Vance’s journey to a satisfying close.

Asked whether Season 5 will be the end, HBO CEO Casey Bloys kept the door wide open.

“I don’t know. We leave that up to them. With all shows… I like to leave it to the creators… Does it feel like the right place to end it?”

The network’s approach is to let the creative team decide when the story is truly finished – and for Hacks, that decision may not be final just yet.
