Rivals Renewed For Season 3 On Hulu
Hulu has renewed Rivals for a third season. The pickup comes ahead of the return of Season 2, whose second batch of episodes is set to premiere this November.
The critically acclaimed drama has been a major success since its debut, earning both International Emmy and BAFTA recognition. Season 3 will consist of 12 new episodes and continue the story following the fallout from Season 2’s scandalous revelations.
According to the official synopsis, the new season will see alliances grow more fragile as old rivalries intensify, new romances emerge, and long-buried secrets come to light in a world defined by power, passion, and betrayal.
Based on the novel by Jilly Cooper, Rivals is set in the glamorous and competitive world of 1980s Britain, where media moguls, aristocrats, and socialites clash in pursuit of influence and status. At the center of the drama are the ongoing battles between powerful figures Tony Baddingham and Rupert Campbell-Black, whose personal and professional conflicts ripple throughout the Cotswolds.
The ensemble cast includes David Tennant, Alex Hassell, Aidan Turner, Nafessa Williams, Bella Maclean, Katherine Parkinson, Danny Dyer, and Victoria Smurfit, with Hayley Atwell and Rupert Everett also returning in guest roles.
Rivals Season 3 is slated to premiere in 2027 on Hulu.
