Netflix has announced that its animated fantasy series Wolf King will return for a second season, but the upcoming run will also serve as its last.

Adapted from Curtis Jobling’s Wereworld novels, the series follows Drew Ferran (Ceallach Spellman), a reluctant hero who discovers he is the last of the Werewolves and rightful ruler of a kingdom governed by Werelords. Drew must rise to claim the throne and challenge the Lionlords’ reign of tyranny.

Season 2 continues Drew’s struggle to hold onto his crown while battling enemies on all sides. Along with political challenges, he faces the personal weight of leadership and the daunting responsibility of choosing a queen.

The returning voice cast includes Ceallach Spellman, Nina Barker-Francis, Georgia Lock, and Chris Lew Kum Hoi, alongside Peter Serafinowicz, Paterson Joseph, Kate Fleetwood, and David Dawson.

The second and final season premieres on September 11, 2025.
