I Love LA Renewed For Season 2 On HBO

HBO wants more of I Love LA.

HBO has renewed I Love LA for a second season. The Rachel Sennott-created comedy is one of HBO’s fastest-growing original comedies and currently ranks as the platform’s second top freshman comedy ever, averaging nearly 2 million viewers (L+3) across platforms.

In a statement, HBO commented on the renewals of both I Love LA and The Chair Company, which has also been picked up for Season 2, alongside Task:

“We’re thrilled by the incredible response to The Chair Company and I Love LA debuts. Both shows confidently carry on the HBO comedy tradition, in their own singular way. We couldn’t be happier to continue collaborating with Tim, Zach, Rachel, and their exceptional teams.”

I Love LA follows a group of ambitious friends navigating relationships, careers, and self-reinvention in Los Angeles. Season 1 stars Sennott as Maia, alongside Jordan Firstman, Josh Hutcherson, Odessa A’zion, and True Whitaker. The season also featured guest appearances from Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Ayo Edebiri, Elijah Wood, and more.

Expect I Love LA to premiere in late 2026 on HBO.
