Apple TV+ has cancelled Palm Royale after two seasons. The decision comes less than two months after the comedy wrapped its 10-episode sophomore run.

The series debuted in 2024 and went on to earn 11 Emmy Award nominations for its first season, including Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy for Kristen Wiig, and Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Carol Burnett. The show ultimately won for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music.

Palm Royale followed Maxine Simmons, an ambitious woman determined to break into Palm Beach high society in 1969. As she attempts to navigate the divide between wealth and status, the series explored the personal compromises required to gain acceptance among the elite.

Per insiders, there are no plans to shop Palm Royal to other platforms for Season 3. Apple TV+
