The Assassin Renewed For Season 2 By Prime Video & Stan

The international crime thriller has been quietly picked up for another chapter.

Prime Video and Stan have reportedly renewed The Assassin for a second season. The international crime thriller, created by Harry and Jack Williams, follows a retired hitwoman and her estranged son as they are forced into a globe-spanning fight for survival.

The first season starred Keeley Hawes as Julie, a former assassin living quietly on a Greek island until her past resurfaces, pulling her back into a violent underworld. Freddie Highmore plays her son Edward, whose uncertain parentage and fraught relationship with Julie form the emotional core of the series. Together, they navigate betrayal, conspiracy, and danger across Europe as they struggle to trust one another.

The Assassin Season 2 is set to premiere in 2026 on Prime Video and Stan.
