Every Year After Renewed For Season 2 By Prime Video
Prime Video has renewed Every Year After for a second season, just two weeks after the romantic drama debuted its eight-episode first season. The next chapter will adapt Carley Fortune’s bestselling novel One Golden Summer, bringing viewers back to the beloved lakeside community of Barry’s Bay.
The early renewal comes after a strong response from audiences, with the series quickly establishing itself as one of the streamer’s breakout romance titles of the year.

Season 1, based on Fortune’s novel Every Summer After, unfolded across six years and one life-changing week, telling a nostalgic story of first love, friendship, heartbreak, and the moments that shape who we become. Set against the backdrop of the picturesque lake town of Barry’s Bay, the series struck a chord with viewers through its emotional storytelling and summer romance atmosphere.
Season 2 will shift its focus to One Golden Summer, another story set in the same world that explores new relationships while continuing to build on the charm and emotional resonance that made the first season a success.
Season 2 is slated to premiere in 2027.
