Netflix has renewed The Lincoln Lawyer for a fifth season, ahead of the show’s upcoming fourth season on February 5, 2026, we can exclusively reveal. The early pickup secures the legal drama’s continuation beyond its next chapter.

Update: On January 28, 2026, Netflix made the renewal public, confirming our exclusive, and provided the following statement from co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez:

“We’re so excited to share the upcoming fourth season with the audience on February 5th, and even more excited to share the news that we’re already hard at work on the next one. Season Four is the most challenging and intensely personal journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the ride in Season Five!”

Season 4 will be based on Michael Connelly’s sixth novel in the series, The Law of Innocence. The story follows Los Angeles defense attorney Mickey Haller as he navigates the criminal justice system while operating out of his trademark Lincoln.

The series stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as Haller, alongside Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson.

The Lincoln Lawyer Season 5 is expected to premiere in 2027 on Netflix. The streamer has not indicated whether the fifth season is intended to conclude the series.
