Disney+ has quietly renewed Skeleton Crew for a second season, more than a year after the first season of the series concluded. The pickup follows the show’s initial run, which received favorable critical response.

Set within the Star Wars universe, the series follows four children who become lost in the galaxy while searching for their home planet, encountering unfamiliar worlds and threats along the way.

The cast includes Jude Law, Kerry Condon, Kyriana Kratter, Nick Frost, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Robert Timothy Smith, Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Tunde Adebimpe.

There’s no word yet on whether Season 2 will conclude the series, or leave the door open to a third season.

Skeleton Crew Season 2 is expected to premiere in 2027 on Disney+.
