Scrabble has been renewed for a third season by The CW. The network has ordered a new season of one-hour episodes as the game show continues to rank among its strongest original unscripted series.
Hosted by Craig Ferguson, Scrabble brings Hasbro’s classic word game to television, with contestants using vocabulary, strategy, and quick thinking to compete for cash prizes. Since premiering on The CW, the series has reached more than 9.2 million viewers and is one of the network’s five highest-rated entertainment programs of the 2025-26 season.
The renewal comes as the current second season continues its run. New episodes of Season 2 return to The CW on October 1, while the series is also set to expand its audience through broadcast syndication after securing clearance in more than 85% of U.S. television markets.
Season 3 of Scrabble is expected to premiere in 2027 on The CW.
