On Patrol: Live Renewed For Season 5; 90 New Episodes & Spinoff Ordered

Reelz has renewed On Patrol: Live for Season 5, ordering 90 new episodes of the docuseries.

The renewal also includes 90 additional one-hour episodes of spinoff series On Patrol: First Shift, extending the franchise’s run.

The order for On Patrol: Live equates to 270 live hours of programming. Combined with First Shift, Reelz will air 360 hours of original On Patrol content. The pickup follows the franchise passing the 300-episode milestone in October, with 322 episodes aired to date.

Reelz CEO Stan E. Hubbard said of the order:

“In today’s fragmented media landscape, a pick-up of 90 episodes — 360 hours of live television — is virtually unheard of; yet REELZ has done this for four consecutive years. We couldn’t be prouder to renew OPL through next January and bring viewers along for the ride.”

Host and executive producer Dan Abrams added:

“OPL not only chronicles the experience of law enforcement on the job, in real time, the show continues to make a real difference with our ‘Missing’ and ‘Be on the Lookout’ segments.”

On Patrol: Live airs live Fridays and Saturdays from 9 p.m. to midnight ET on Reelz, with the current renewal extending the franchise through January 2027.
