FOX has renewed Murder In A Small Town for a third season, marking the network’s first scripted renewal of the current season.

The mystery-crime drama will return as part of FOX’s 2026-2027 lineup, alongside already-renewed animated series including Universal Basic Guys and Bob’s Burgers.

Season 2 has averaged 2.2 million viewers per episode, representing an 11% increase over Season 1’s 1.97 million average. The series is one of the network’s few remaining scripted dramas and has maintained steady performance through its sophomore run.
