Netflix has cancelled Billionaires’ Bunker, confirming the series will not return for a second season. The show premiered in September and concluded its first season with a cliffhanger.

The disaster drama starred Pau Simón, Alícia Falcó, Miren Ibarguren, Agustina Bisio, and Joaquín Furriel. The story followed a group of billionaires living in an underground bunker during a fictional World War III scenario.

Series creator Álex Pina had previously discussed early plans for a Season 2 continuation, saying:

“We have thought about how to start things back again, since we had to do it in order to write the season finale. So what happens immediately afterwards is laid out, as well as ideas on how to get even more mean and hardcore. What we have not thought about yet is how season 2 would be mapped out.”

However, with Netflix passing on Season 2, and no plans to shop the series elsewhere, Billionaires’ Bunker stands as a one-and-done.
