The Ultimatum: Queer Love Cancelled – No Season 3

Netflix concludes the reality dating spinoff.

Netflix has cancelled The Ultimatum: Queer Love, ending the LGBTQ+ spinoff after two seasons. The decision comes just months after the second season premiered in June, marking a short run for the reality series.

Queer Love debuted in May 2023 as part of the broader Ultimatum franchise, following women and non-binary couples navigating marriage ultimatums. Each season, one partner sought commitment while the other hesitated. Cast members separated, dated others, entered trial marriages, and ultimately chose whether to commit, switch partners, or leave on their own.

Season 1 reached the Netflix Top 10 for two weeks, but Season 2 failed to replicate that momentum, falling short of the global charts despite appearing in five regional lists.

The original Ultimatum: Marry or Move On remains active, renewed for a fourth season earlier this year. Netflix has also produced localized versions of The Ultimatum in France and South Africa.

With the cancellation, The Ultimatum: Queer Love closes after two seasons, while the parent franchise continues forward.
