Netflix has renewed The Night Agent for a fourth season ahead of the show’s upcoming third-season return, we can exclusively reveal. The early pickup secures the thriller’s continuation into 2027.

Update: On March 6, 2026, Netflix confirmed the renewal and issued the following statement from series creator Shawn Ryan:

“It’s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents to this point and we’re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland will continue into Season 4. Our writers, our cast and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns and thrills.”

Season 3 follows Peter Sutherland as he is tasked with tracking down a Treasury agent who has fled to Istanbul with sensitive government intelligence after killing his superior. The investigation draws Peter into a dark money network, places him in the crosshairs of hired assassins, and brings him into an uneasy alliance with a journalist as they uncover secrets that threaten the stability of the government.

Netflix has not indicated whether Season 4 will conclude the series or leave the door open for a potential fifth season in 2028.

The Night Agent Season 4 is set to premiere in 2027 on Netflix.
