Netflix has announced that Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch will return for a second season.

The renewal comes a day after the series released its first season, and ensures the continuation of Ubisoft’s acclaimed stealth franchise in animated form.

Developed by John Wick creator Derek Kolstad, the series follows legendary covert operative Sam Fisher, voiced by Liev Schreiber, as he’s drawn back into the field to aid a young agent in distress. Kirby Howell-Baptiste co-stars as Zinnia McKenna.

In this first-ever screen adaptation of the Splinter Cell video game series, Deathwatch brings Fisher’s world of espionage, technology, and moral ambiguity to life with cinematic intensity and striking animation.

Season 2 of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Deathwatch is now in development at Netflix, and is slated for a late 2026 release.
