Karamo has been cancelled after four seasons. The decision comes as NBCUniversal moves to shut down production of its first-run syndicated programming.

Production on the daytime talk show has already wrapped, with remaining episodes expected to continue airing through the summer. The cancellation follows NBCUniversal’s broader strategy shift away from producing original syndicated talk shows for local stations.

“NBCUniversal is making changes to our first-run syndication division to better align with the programming preferences of local stations,” said Frances Berwick, chairman of Bravo & Peacock Unscripted for NBCUniversal, in a statement. “The company will remain active in the distribution of our existing program library and other off-network titles, while winding down production of our first-run shows. These shows have provided audiences with great talk and entertainment content for many years and we’re very proud of the teams behind them.”

Hosted by Karamo Brown, the show explored a range of personal and social topics including family dynamics, infidelity, race and complicated relationships. Brown’s approach combined emotional storytelling with practical advice for guests navigating difficult situations.

Karamo will air its remaining episodes through September 2026 in syndication.
