E! News Cancelled After 34 Years

The entertainment news staple will sign off from linear TV after 34 years.

After more than three decades on the air, E! News is coming to an end as a linear television program. Sources confirm that the nightly entertainment-news show will officially conclude on September 25, 2025.

The program, which originally launched in 1991, took a two-year hiatus during the COVID-19 pandemic but returned to screens in recent years. It will now continue solely as a digital brand, marking the end of its run as a nightly broadcast.

Staff were informed of the cancellation the morning of the announcement. New episodes expected to resume until the show concludes.

Sister programs Access Hollywood and Access Daily will remain on air, continuing production at Terrace Studios.
