Alien: Earth Renewed For Season 2 On FX

FX has announced a renewal for Alien: Earth, confirming that the sci-fi drama will return for a second season. The renewal comes under two months after the Noah Hawley-produced drama wrapped its first season.

The upcoming season of Alien: Earth is set to begin filming in London next year.

FX Chairman John Landgraf said of the renewal:

“It has been our great privilege to work with Noah for more than a decade on some of FX’s best and biggest shows, and we are thrilled to extend our partnership well into the future.”

He added that FX is eager to begin work on the second season of Alien: Earth alongside other upcoming Hawley projects already in development.

Hawley expressed his enthusiasm for continuing the collaboration, stating:

“FX has always supported bold, character-driven storytelling. From the very beginning with Fargo, they’ve encouraged me to take creative risks and follow the story wherever it leads. I’m grateful to continue exploring the world of Alien: Earth alongside our partners, cast, and crew.”

Alien: Earth Season 2 is slated to premiere in late 2026 on FX and Hulu in the U.S., and Disney+ internationally.
