NBC has renewed Chicago P.D. for a 14th season. The pickup comes as part of a full renewal of the One Chicago franchise, ensuring all three series will return for the 2026-2027 television season.

We’ve updated our NBC cancelled/renewed scorecard with this news.

Since its 2014 debut, the series has remained a steady performer in NBC’s primetime lineup and recently surpassed the 250-episode milestone. As the first spinoff of Chicago Fire, it helped establish a long-running franchise that also includes Chicago Med.

Chicago P.D. follows both uniformed patrol officers and the intelligence unit as they investigate major crimes across Chicago, tackling complex cases tied to the city’s most serious offenses.

Chicago P.D. Season 14 will air during the 2026-2027 season on NBC.
