The Way Home Cancelled On Hallmark Channel – No Season 5

The Landry family's story is coming to an end.

Hallmark Channel has cancelled The Way Home. The fantasy series will conclude with its upcoming fourth season, bringing the Landry family story to a close. Production on the final chapter wraps later this month in Canada, for a 2026 premiere.

In a statement, Samantha DiPippo, Hallmark Media’s SVP of Programming, said:

“Fans of The Way Home have enthusiastically watched and rewatched every episode since the first pond jump of season 1 as they’ve tried to piece together the brilliant puzzle Heather Conkie, Alexandra Clarke and Marly Reed expertly crafted. We’re grateful to our talented cast led by Andie, Chyler, Evan and Sadie, as well as our amazing writers and crew who have worked so hard on this show.”

The series follows Kat Landry, played by Chyler Leigh, who returns to her hometown and discovers the pond behind her family home is a portal to the past. Andie MacDowell stars as Kat’s mother Del, Sadie Laflamme-Snow plays Kat’s daughter Alice, and Evan Williams appears as Kat’s longtime friend Elliot.

The fourth and final season of The Way Home premieres Spring 2026 on Hallmark Channel.
