The Kitchen Cancelled By Food Network

 The long-running weekend food chat show will serve its final episodes in December. 

Food Network has cancelled The Kitchen after 40 seasons and a 12-year run as one of the network’s longest-running weekend series. Since debuting in 2014, the Emmy-nominated chat show has aired over 500 episodes and become a staple of Food Network’s lineup.

The hourlong program blends conversation and cooking, featuring hosts Sunny Anderson, Katie Lee, Jeff Mauro, Geoffrey Zakarian, and more recently Alex Guarnaschelli. Each episode combines recipes, kitchen tips, and lively discussions about all things food – often with games, guest appearances, and viewer questions.

Betsy Ayala, Head of Content, Food, Warner Bros. Discovery, said:

“For over a decade Sunny, Katie, Jeff, Geoffrey and more recently Alex have engaged audiences with their individual and distinct food sensibilities and sense of humor that together make The Kitchen a delicious way to spend an hour. Everyone knows all good parties end up in The Kitchen, where the conversation, laughs and food flow; the best parties probably end a little bit earlier than some guests would like, but we’ve got twelve years of memories and wanted to celebrate this team’s hard work during one final holiday season.”

The Kitchen will air its final episodes in December 2025 on Food Network.
