The Artful Dodger has been renewed for a third and final season by Hulu. The Australian drama will return for one last chapter, with filming scheduled to begin in Sydney this fall.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster, David Thewlis, and Maia Mitchell are all set to reprise their roles as Dr. Jack Dawkins, Norbert Fagin, and Lady Belle Fox, respectively. Hulu says the final season will raise the stakes with bigger heists, more action, and new adventures as the story reaches its conclusion.

Behind the scenes, executive producers Jo Porter and Rachel Gardner return alongside series producer Chris Martin-Jones. Andrew Knight will once again lead the writing team as executive producer, with Dan Knight returning as script producer after contributing across all three seasons. Ben Young and Ben C. Lucas are also back to direct the final season.

The series reimagines Charles Dickens’ iconic Artful Dodger as an accomplished surgeon attempting to leave his criminal past behind in 1850s Australia. Since its debut, the Hulu original has blended period drama, crime, romance, and adventure while following Jack Dawkins as he is repeatedly drawn back into the world of Fagin and high-stakes schemes.

The third and final season of The Artful Dodger is slated to premiere in 2027 on Hulu.
