Good news! Fallout will be back for another season 👍
About Fallout
Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, a peaceful denizen from a cozy fallout shelter is forced to return to the surface–and is shocked to discover the wasteland waiting for her.

Did You Know?: Fallout Season 2
A Return to the Wasteland
Prime Video’s Fallout is back for another chapter in its irradiated, post-apocalyptic world. The eight-episode second season premieres December 16, 2025 (moved up a day earlier than initially scheduled), with new episodes rolling out weekly until February 4, 2026. Season 1 became one of Prime Video’s top three most-watched titles of all time, surpassing 100 million viewers, making Season 2one of the most anticipated genre returns of the past few years.
This new installment picks up directly after Season 1’s finale and expands the story into one of the most iconic landscapes in the entire franchise: the scorched wilds of the Mojave Wasteland and the neon ruins of New Vegas.
Big Names Join the Apocalypse
Season 2’s trailer confirmed two major additions to the ensemble: Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin. Their roles remain under wraps, but their presence suggests Season Two will explore both the comedic absurdity and ominous strangeness the franchise is known for.
Returning cast members include Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, and Frances Turner, all central figures in Season One’s intertwining storylines about survivors, Vault dwellers, and the monstrous realities of post-nuclear America.
Behind the Scenes: A Powerhouse Production
Season 2 continues under the creative leadership of Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, whose company Kilter Films produces the series. Showrunners Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner return as creators, writers, and executive producers, ensuring narrative continuity and tonal consistency with Season 1.
The production once again partners with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, with Todd Howard and James Altman executive producing. This close collaboration preserves the world’s authenticity, from the Vault interiors to the twisted creature designs and the franchise’s signature retro-futuristic aesthetic.
New Vegas: A Major Expansion of Fallout Lore
The shift to the Mojave and New Vegas brings the series deeper into territory beloved by fans. The region is home to legendary factions, mysterious figures, mutated monstrosities, and morally ambiguous power struggles. Season 2 promises to embrace Fallout’s blend of dark satire, brutal survivalism, and unexpected humanity, all while introducing new threats rising from the wasteland.
