Apple TV has cancelled The Last Frontier following its 10-episode first season. The decision not to renew the thriller for Season 2 follows mixed reviews, and comes less than a month after the series completed its freshman run.

The Last Frontier starred Jason Clarke as Frank Remnick, a U.S. marshal overseeing a remote region of Alaska. After a prison transport plane crashes in the wilderness and dozens of inmates escape, Remnick works to protect the nearby town and begins to suspect the crash was part of a coordinated plan with wider consequences.

The Last Frontier Season 2 is not currently being shopped to other networks or platforms.
