The Beauty Cancelled At FX on Hulu - No Season 2
The Beauty will not be returning for a second season at FX. The network has allowed the cast’s contract options to expire, effectively ending the drama’s run four months after its first season concluded. While an official cancellation announcement has not been issued, the decision to release the cast from their options means there are no plans to continue the series.
The first season concluded on a cliffhanger, leaving the story open for a potential second chapter. However, the series failed to generate the audience the network had hoped for during its debut run, making a renewal increasingly unlikely as the months passed. With the principal cast now free to pursue other projects, the show’s run has effectively come to an end.
The Beauty followed FBI agents investigating the mysterious deaths of international supermodels in Paris. Their investigation uncovered a sexually transmitted virus capable of transforming people into physically flawless versions of themselves, but at a devastating cost. As the conspiracy expanded across Europe and New York, the agents found themselves battling a powerful corporation led by a tech billionaire determined to protect a revolutionary drug tied to the outbreak, while an unlikely outsider became entangled in the growing crisis.
The series was created by Ryan Murphy and adapted from the comic book series of the same name. Despite setting up future storylines in its finale, the show’s unresolved ending will now remain its conclusion.
