Sullivan's Crossing Renewed For Season 5 On The CW
Sullivan’s Crossing will continue for another season. The CW has picked up the drama for a 10-episode fifth season, with the new episodes scheduled to air in 2027. The announcement follows Bell Media’s earlier renewal of the series for Season 5 on CTV and Crave in Canada.
The renewal comes after another strong season for the Robyn Carr adaptation. According to The CW, Sullivan’s Crossing is averaging more than one million cross-platform viewers per episode during its fourth season. The network also reported year-over-year audience gains across multiple demographics, including a 62% increase among adults 18-49, a 26% increase among adults 25-54, and a 30% increase in total viewers, with VOD viewing also continuing to grow.
Based on Carr’s bestselling novel series, Sullivan’s Crossing stars Morgan Kohan as Maggie Sullivan, a neurosurgeon who returns to her childhood home in rural Nova Scotia following personal and professional setbacks. Chad Michael Murray co-stars as Cal Jones, whose relationship with Maggie has become the emotional center of the series. Season 4 concluded on June 22 after Maggie recommitted to her future at Sullivan’s Crossing, only for the arrival of her ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner), to threaten her relationship with Cal.
Creator and executive producer Roma Roth said she is excited to continue building the series following its global success and confirmed that Floyd Kane will join Season 5 as head writer:

From the beginning, my goal was to create a long-running series that would resonate deeply with a global audience, and I’m thrilled that our fans have supported us every step of the way. Roth will remain involved as creator and executive producer while also expanding another adaptation based on Robyn Carr’s work. Morgan Kohan and Chad Michael Murray are expected to return for the new season.
Season 5 of Sullivan’s Crossing is expected to premiere in 2027.

About Sullivan’s Crossing
Maggie Sullivan is a star neurosurgeon who seemingly has it all, until her business partner is indicted for fraud and she finds herself charged with negligence. Looking to distance herself from the fallout, Maggie decides to leave Boston and return to her childhood home of Sullivan’s Crossing, a rustic and remote campground set against the stunning coastline still run by her estranged father, Sully Sullivan. There, Maggie rekindles old friendships and builds new ones with the local residents, including a handsome newcomer, Cal Jones, who only serves to complicate her life further.
