The CW has officially renewed hit football drama All American for an eighth and final season, ordering 13 episodes to wrap up the story in 2026.
The network confirmed that the show remains its #1 entertainment series across all major adult demographics and its top-performing title on The CW app.
“All American is one of the greatest CW shows of all time,” said Brad Schwartz, President of The CW Network. “We are honored to bring it back for one final season to give fans a chance to say a meaningful goodbye… The series took bold new steps in Season 7… and viewership grew 71% among adults 18-49.”
Season 7 saw a significant surge in popularity, thanks in part to the addition of new characters and evolving storylines. The CW reported viewership growth not only in younger audiences but also a 55% increase among adults aged 25-54.
Executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll offered a heartfelt tribute to the show’s journey, saying:
“My heart is so filled with love and gratitude… It is so hard to say goodbye to the thing that you love, but we are so excited we get to do it in the way we envisioned with this final season.”
Based on the life of former NFL player Spencer Paysinger, All American follows Spencer James, a talented high school football player navigating the stark contrast between his home in South Crenshaw and the privileged world of Beverly Hills High. The show blends sports drama with real-world themes of identity, family, ambition, and belonging.
After seven seasons of inspiring fans with the mantra “Dream Big. Stay Real,” the show’s final season promises to leave it all on the field.
