The Gentlemen has been renewed for a third season by Netflix, with Guy Ritchie returning to direct. The early pickup comes just 10 days before the crime drama returns for its second season on September 3.

Based on Ritchie’s 2019 film of the same name, The Gentlemen stars Theo James as Eddie Horniman, a former Army captain who unexpectedly inherits his father’s estate and discovers that it is tied to a lucrative criminal enterprise. Daniel Ings co-stars as Eddie’s older brother, Freddy.

Creator, writer, director and executive producer Guy Ritchie said:

“The ambition of The Gentlemen has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”

Netflix has not indicated that Season 3 will be the show’s final season, leaving the possibility of the series continuing beyond the newly ordered installment.

Season 2 of The Gentlemen releases September 3, 2026 on Netflix, followed by Season 3 in 2027.
